If you are looking for good old fashion American food…go to Butterfingers located all across Seoul. It even made #5 on our list of the best American Restaurants in Seoul. I recently went to the one in Gangnam and it was awesome. The amount of food per plate is insane…no wonder Americans are so large. I would guess each combo item has 2,000 plus calories. There menu selection is HUGE. So huge in fact that they provide two laminated menus that are as big as your body. Here they are.
How on earth are you suppose to choose from all these options. That is why people go to Butterfingers…. They have everything you are looking for. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausages, waffles, french toast, and even chicken strips. I decided to get the chicken strip platter and trust me….this was the best chicken strip I had in Seoul…not only was it crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside….but the cover it with this magical gravy that is so good…..I almost pooped myself. Just look at this….
You can have your eggs cooked anyway you like. The mashed potatoes were great….soft and fluffy. The bread and the veggies were kinda gross…I didn’t even bother eating it. They also give you two cheese sticks. My date went with the traditional Jeanie’s French Toast. Also very good….take a look here.
Again their menu selections are huge so I will 100% be going back here again. The prices are very expensive however. Even the drinks are WAY overpriced. Orange Juice alone costs over 10,000 won and an order of Dr. Pepper over 5,000 won. So I would recommend you skip the drinks all together. There is setting upstairs and I would recommend that because downstairs can get loud and cramped.
